REMOTE COMMANDER OPERATORS MANUAL

MRC-2 Marine Remote Commander Manual

1. LEVEL (volume) UP button \
2. LEVEL (volume) DOWN button
3. & 4. SEEK/AMS UP/DOWN button
During tape or CD/MD playback:
  • AMS function: Locates beginning of tracks. Press up or down button the number of times you wish to skip tracks. To skip several tracks at once press up or down button momentarily and release. Within one second press the same button again and hold until desired track is released.
  • Manual search: Locates desired part of a track. Press either up or down button and hold until desired part of track is reached.

    During radio/TV operation:
  • Automatic tuning: Automatically tunes to a station. When a station is tuned in, the search stops automatically. Press up or down button momentarily several times until desired station is tuned in.
  • Manually search a station: Press and hold up or down button until desired station is tuned in. If you press the same button again within one second, you can continue manual search for another station.

    5. OFF button: Press to turn off the unit.

    The 6, 7, and 8 buttons will activate different functions depending on the type of master unit.

    6. DISPLAY button:
  • (models with custom file functions) The DISPLAY button changes the custom file mode, and displays the custom file list.
  • (models without custom file function) The DISPLAY button changes the display mode and sets the time.

    7. MODE button:
  • Changes the playback side of the cassette.
  • Selects CD changers when several CD changers are connected.
  • Selects MD changers when several MD changers are connected.
  • Changes the preset groups within the band received.

    FM/AM model:
  • Pressing the SOURCE button changes FM to AM.
  • Pressing the MODE button changes preset groups. (ex: FM1 to FM2)

    FM/AM/LW(SW) model:
  • Pressing the SOURCE button changes FM to MW.
  • Pressing the MODE button changes the preset groups in FM and MW to LW(SW).
  • Changes TV/video mode (Only US and Canada models).

    8. SOUND button: Functions in the same way as the SEL button on the master unit.

    6. DISPLAY button: Changes the custom file mode, and displays the custom file list.
    7. MODE button: Adjusts Volume, Sub output level, Bass, Treble, Balance, Fader, and DSP control.
    8. SOUND button: Changes display mode.
    9. MUTE button: Press to mute sound momentarily.
    10. SOURCE/ON button: Press to select program sources.
    11. & 12. DISC/PRESET UP/DOWN button: Press either UP or DOWN button to:
  • Fast wind the tape. To resume normal playback, press MODE button.
  • Change the disc when a CD/MD changer(s) are connected.
  • Retrieves the station memorized on the preset number button on the master unit.

    When the POWER SELECT switch on your master unit is set to the OFF position, your master unit cannot be operated from the Remote Commander unless one of the operation buttons is pressed or a disc/cassette is inserted to activate the master unit. Depending on the type of master unit, you can turn on the master unit with the SOURCE/ON button of the Remote Commander.

    Your Remote Commander is warranted for a period of 90 days from date of purchase to be free of manufacturers defect, and when used in a manner consistent with its intended use. Please keep your purchase receipt and report any problems to the dealer you purchased this unit from. Defective unit may be repaired or replaced at the discretion of Access Technologies®.
