Tech Tips TECHNICAL BULLETIN REGARDING IRREGULARITIES IN PERFORMANCE OF THE MRC-2 MARINE REMOTE COMMANDER AND THE RC-1B MOBILE REMOTE COMMANDER 1. It has come to the attention of Access Technologies® that there appears to be malfunction, of certain buttons on the remotes, when used with 2000 year model SONYŽ compatible head units. 2. After thorough studies, it has been found that the heatsinks on certain hi-power radios have been increased in size for the new models. 3. This has made it very difficult to insert the mini plug connector into the socket in the rear of the radios. 4. CAUTION: The connector must be inserted completely into the socket for the remote to function correctly! 5. If necessary the plastic may need to be trimmed slightly from the connector, for it to fit into the socket. We apologize for the inconvenience and we are revising the connector for all future product.
